{"id":417,"date":"2021-04-01T13:45:23","date_gmt":"2021-04-01T13:45:23","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/help.unitedover.com\/wpnotif\/?post_type=manual_kb&#038;p=417"},"modified":"2022-12-26T19:10:16","modified_gmt":"2022-12-26T19:10:16","slug":"messagebird","status":"publish","type":"manual_kb","link":"https:\/\/help.unitedover.com\/wpnotif\/kb\/messagebird\/","title":{"rendered":"Messagebird"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>To use Messagebird with WPNotif on WordPress you can either simply add an SMS template in our template settings just the same way you would do it for other gateways. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>But if you are planning to use Messagebird for both WhatsApp and SMS then in that case you will need to define different templates for both of those channels as required by Messabird. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Below is an example a template which you can refer to create your own <\/p>\n\n\n\n<pre class=\"wp-block-preformatted\">##SMS##\nYour order {{wc-order}} is shipped on {{date}}\n\n##WHATSAPP##\ntemplate-name =&gt; order-shipped\nnamespace =&gt; 32995840_dfdb_45b5_91c3_41tyh5fe7a84\nlanguage =&gt; en\n1 =&gt; {{wc-order}}\n2 =&gt; {{date}}<\/pre>\n\n\n\n<p>Here is a breakdown of the above template <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>##SMS##<\/strong> and <strong>##WHATSAPP##<\/strong> are used to define the channels. To make sure this template works, you need to add both of these headers but you can leave any of those empty to not trigger that particular one (example provided below)<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>template-name<\/strong> &#8211; is the name you define in your Messagebird panel<br><strong>namespace<\/strong> &#8211; this value is provided by Messagebird and is generally unique to your account<br><strong>1: 2:<\/strong> &#8211; these are the series of variables you define in your Messagbird WhatsApp template<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>So if your template for WhatsApp in messagebird is <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Hi, your order {{1}} has been shipped on {{2}}<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Your template on WPNotif should look similar to <\/p>\n\n\n\n<pre class=\"wp-block-preformatted\">##SMS##\nYour order {{wc-order}} is shipped on {{date}}\n\n##WHATSAPP##\ntemplate-name =&gt;
